Description:
Double row deep groove bearings are commonly used in applications where single row deep groove bearings are inadequate. As such, the design comprises an inner and outer ring, and two rows of balls in deep raceway grooves. Deep groove bearings are the most widely used bearing type due to their versatility and exceptional performance. The unique design allows for reliability in high-speed applications, however double row deep groove bearings provide a higher load capacity than single row at the expense of speed capabilities. Other benefits include high temperature capabilities, low noise, little maintenance requirements, excellent radial load capacity and axial load capacity in both directions. Double row bearings provide the capabilities of a pair of single row bearings, while conserving space and bearing locations. These
bearings are available in many variations, including seal type, cage material, and improvements such as
lubrication. Seal types include open, sealed, or shielded. Cage material can be glass fibre reinforced polyamide, or pressed steel, depending on the application and desired lubrication; Some synthetic lubrications or additives can degrade plastic cages at high temperatures. MRO Supply carries a variety of double row deep groove bearings, fit for many high load and high speed applications such as low noise
motors, vehicles, precision instruments, and general machinery.
