Description:
If you have an industrial establishment that requires power transmission, the chances are that you use or are likely to need bushings. These are plain
bearings used to mount other components such as pulleys and
sheaves. One of the commonest categories of bushings is the R1 model. The R1 bushings fall in the larger family of
MST bushings that are engineered to make installation and disembarking easy and fast. R1 model is constructed with a taper and splits on the barrel. When using an R1 bushing, it is keyed to the shaft and the drive component for extra strength and durability. Like other MST bushings, the R1 bushing can be constructed using a wide range of materials including ductile iron, sintered steel, cast iron, and steel. The bushings are recommended for most applications that require some form of shaft mounting. Some of the industries where R1 is used include chemical and oil, baggage handling, waste-water, and air handling among others. To see the full list of R1 bushings and select your preferred option, make sure to visit our page.
