Water nozzles are plumbing devices that help disperse liquid in spray form. They are used to achieve three primary goals; increasing the surface area of a liquid, distributing the liquid, and amplifying the force exerted by a liquid on a surface. To achieve these actions, water nozzles are categorized depending on how they break the liquid into droplets. Single-Fluid nozzles use the force of the water on a pipe to break the water into small droplets. If you increase the pressure of water getting to the nozzle, the amount of water running through will also increase. It is the commonest type of water nozzle today. Another type of water nozzle is the two-fluid model. Unlike the single-fluid nozzle, the two-fluid model atomizes water by combining it with air and high velocity. To make it easy to control the flow of water through nozzles, some are designed with trigger valves
. To use a water nozzle, you first have to connect it to a hose, and then direct the nozzle to the surface you want to clean or rinse.
