Also know as a vibrator, these motors produce vibration by rotating large eccentric weights. Vibrations are transmitted to a mesh used to separate rocks, shale, etc. These motors must be very tough in order to withstand the continuous shaking. Most shakers need variable speed, so the motors must be inverter-duty.
Usually, shaker duty motors must be lubricated before start-up to prevent damage. Refer to the manufacturer’s documentation for more details.
