Wrenches or spanners allow you to tighten, loosen, and fasten bolts
. They are available in different shapes and sizes to accommodate various applications. A wrench comes with a notched stout lever for gripping the nut, allowing you to twist the wrench easily and ultimately tighten or loosen the bolt. Open-end wrenches have straight-sided slots. Box-end wrenches' ends, on the other hand, enclose the nut. Their heads also have different points. For instance, a 12-point wrench is the best for square nut. If the bolt is recessed, a socket wrench is more advisable to use since its removable handle and socket can easily grip the nut.
