Gates 8/5VP1250 is an 8-band Predator PowerBand V-belt with a 5VP section and 125.0" outside length. Designed for severe-duty industrial drives requiring high shock-load resistance and reduced belt whip. The banded construction joins multiple V-belts with a continuous tie-band for stable operation under pulsating loads.

It consists of several V-belts joined together by a permanent, high-strength tie band allowing the belts to work together as one unit.
