The SKF NU 244 ECML/C3 is a 220mm bore NU-type cylindrical roller bearing with C3 clearance. The NU design features no flanges on the outer ring, making the bearing separable and able to accommodate axial expansion. It has an enhanced steel cage (EC) for improved roller guidance and load distribution. Suitable for high-radial-load applications in industrial gearboxes, pumps, and electric motors.

Single row cylindrical roller bearing, NU design
Single row cylindrical roller bearings are designed to accommodate high radial loads in combination with high speeds. Having two integral flanges on the outer ring and no flanges on the inner ring, NU design bearings can accommodate axial displacement in both directions. An important feature is the separable design, which facilitates mounting and enables the bearing components to be interchanged.
