The unique protected design of this SKF Hook spanner, allows it to tighten and loosen lock nuts whilst these are inside SKF split pillow block housings (SNL). Alternatively it can be used as regular hook spanner. They are used to secure and adjust bearings on tapered journals, adapter sleeves and withdrawal sleeves. The SKF hook spanner HN 16/SNL, is designed for nuts with an outer diameter of 105 mm. In particular for lock nuts of series KM 16, KMK 16, KMFE 16, KMT 15, AN 16.
