Hook spanner for use inside split plummer (pillow) block housings
The unique protected design of this SKF Hook spanner, allows it to tighten and loosen lock nuts whilst these are inside SKF split plummer (pillow) block housings (SNL). Alternatively it can be used as regular hook spanner. They are used to secure and adjust bearings on tapered journals, adapter sleeves and withdrawal sleeves. The SKF hook spanner HN 17/SNL, is designed for nuts with an outer diameter of 110 mm. In particular for lock nuts of series KM 17, KMK 17, KMFE 17, KMT 16 and AN 17.
