Bench Vise Construction

With their enclosed spindle, precision slides, innovative thrust bearings, 360° swivels, and Wilton's lifetime warranty, these bench vises are built to last.

The Bench Vise is made of ductile iron able to withstand 60000 psi, which means that it has great durability and is fairly lightweight compared to others. You also get a nice and large anvil working surface that's going to accommodate a variety of striking needs.

The Wilton 28807 shown above, is 1765 Tradesman 6-1/2 Round Channel Vise that comes equipped with machined steel serrated jaws with phosphate coating to provide increased durability that extend the life of the insert. If you do not want serration, reverse the jaw inserts for a smooth surface to prevent marring on softer surfaces. 

The enclosed ACME thread design keeps factory lubrication inside the unit and keeps contaminants out for a lifetime of smooth operation. Also features a precision slide bar that eliminates any movement in the front jaw regardless of how wide you open it.
