The End of Shaft Mount-Type JF torque limiter is used where you have limited or reduced shaft length available. The Type JF model allows you to face mount a plate style sprocket or pulley to the torque limiter using bolts. The JFP model comes with an actuating pin that is forced out radially from the main body when overload occurs. When using this model, it is important to note that the external mounting hub end of the unit is the power source or input end. This part of the unit must continue to rotate for the extended pin to contact a (customer supplied) limit switch for shutdown or warning.
