Nexen 827827 is an air engaged tension brake with a shaft mount design and straight bore. It features a black oxide finish, open enclosure, and a 1.125 in machined bore with keyway (also accepts 0.750-1.000 in with optional adapter bushings). Rated for 1800 RPM, it delivers 176 inlb max static torque and 150 inlb max dynamic torque. The brake uses a single caliper, air-cooled design with ultra low coefficient brake facing.
