Dormer Pramet A777.4 (MID 5970906) is a 0.40mm (0.0157") diameter jobber drill with a 20mm overall length and 5mm flute length. Made from Cobalt High Speed Steel (HSS-E) with a bronze coating and steam tempered surface treatment, it features a 135° split point and standard spiral flute geometry. Conforms to DIN 338 with a cylindrical shank. Suitable for cast iron, steel, and high-temperature alloys.

Recommended for use in difficult materials and applications, the A777 drill from Dormer has a 135 degree split point which helps to self-center the drill and reduces the amount of force needed to drill the hole, whilst the bronze oxide finish helps stop work piece material from sticking to the cutting edge of the drill.
The A777 is made from premium high speed cobalt material which means it can be used for drilling hard materials, including tool steels.
