Dormer’s range of PFX, high performance drills includes the A941 long series drill, available in a range of fractional and metric sizes.
With a specially designed parabolic flute, the A941 can be used to drill extra deep holes in a single pass.
No more need for multiple passes (“pecking”). The 130 degree point angle reduces the amount of force needed to drill the workpiece and also helps to self-center the drill on the workpiece surface.
The drill has an Alcrona TOP coating which gives better performance when drilling hard materials and extends the life of the tool.
Manufactured from premium High Speed cobalt, the A941 can be used to drill a variety of materials including steels, aluminium and stainless steels and can produce high quality and accurate holes (to H10 hole tolerance) even when operating at high speeds and feeds
