The A977 extra long series PFX drill comes in metric diameters from 1.50 mm to 14.00 mm.
The PFX series of drills have a specially designed parabolic flutes which eliminates the need to drill deep holes in short steps (pecking), so even extra deep holes can be drilled in a single pass.
The drills have a bright finish which helps stop workpiece material from sticking to the cutting edge.
Made from premium High Speed Cobalt, the drills can be used to drill a number of materials including steels, stainless steels and aluminium.
The A977 has a 130 degree point which helps with self-centering and also means less force is needed to drill the hole.
The A977 drills are recommended for drilling very deep holes and in applications where extra reach is needed
