The strong, conventional 118 degree point on 209 drill bits makes them easy to regrind. They are manufactured from premium High Speed Steel so can be used to drill a number of different materials including stainless steel, aluminum and steels. They are available in many fractional sizes from 1/8” to 2 inches, and can be used in machine applications where the drill is held directly in the spindle, making them a very versatile choice.
209 taper shank drill bits also have a steam oxide finish to prevent workpiece material from sticking to the cutting edges of the drill, so you get a clean and accurate result.
