E-Z LOK 2-56 STI Tap
Although they operate in a similar fashion as standard taps, STI taps create an oversized thread specifically for E-Z Coil threaded inserts.
When installing the insert, the threads cut by the 2-56 STI tap mold the E-Z Coil insert into the desired thread size. These specific taps are ideal for tapping holes in soft metal material that require a strong threaded insert.
Manufactured from high speed steel (HSS), the 2-56 STI tap is designed for extreme durability. We offer these products in inch, metric and spark plug sizes to meet your specifications.
