SIEGMA 5GN30K
SIEGMA 5GN30K is a 90 mm square parallel shaft gearhead with a 30:1 ratio for SIEGMA GN-pinion AC motors (40, 60 W). It gives 60 r/min output at 60 Hz with a 4-pole motor and up to 8.3 N·m (73.5 lb-in) of permissible torque, depending on the motor. Equivalent to Oriental Motor 5GN30KA (current Oriental Motor numbering: 5GN30SA): matched on frame size and gear ratio.
Typical uses are conveyors, indexers, packaging machinery and food processing equipment.
Mounting
Mounts to the standard 90 mm GN/GU frame — same bolt pattern as Oriental Motor and other major brands (104 mm bolt circle).
Output shafts are not standardized across brands: this gearhead has a 12 mm (0.472 in) h7 shaft with a 4 mm key. Check it against the dimension drawing before fitting a coupling, pulley or sprocket.
A motor and gearhead must share the same frame size and pinion type; use this gearhead with SIEGMA GN-pinion motors.
