The Starrett 657A Magnetic Indicator Holder Set is put together for your ordering convenience, but you can mix and match other Starrett test or back-plunger indicators and attachments with the 657A Magnetic Base and Swivel Post Assembly to suit your needs. Base/Post Assembly with 711FSZ/PT07101F.

Features

  • Powerful, permanent magnetic base holds firmly to steel or iron surfaces - horizontally, vertically, upside down
  • The swivel post assembly on these holders provides universal adjustment in both horizontal and vertical planes
  • Compatible with Starrett test, back-plunger, dial, AGD and miniature-dial indicators, as well as similar indicators from other manufacturers
  • Push-button on/off switch for one-handed operation
  • Grips horizontally, vertically and upside down for versatility
  • Upright base post has overall length of 6-1/2 in, with 2 in long upper arm that swings in an arc of more than 180 deg
  • Small size and variety of attachments allows the 711 to handle all jobs with ease and accuracy
  • The PT07101F body clamp permits the indicator to be held by its body and clamped to any diameter rod from 1/8 in to 1/4 in
