SMC JAF63-18-150 floating joint compensates for off-centering and loss of parallel accuracy between a pneumatic cylinder and the driven body. This standard-duty JA series joint eliminates the need for precise centering, reducing installation time and machining requirements. It absorbs axial and angular misalignment to protect cylinder seals and rod bearings.

The floating joint series JA (standard) and JAH (heavy duty), can absorb any "off-centering" or "loss of parallel accuracy" between the cylinder and the driven body. Because of this, centering is unnecessary, installation time is drastically reduced, and a high level of machining accuracy is unnecessary.
