SMC JA15-6-100 floating joint compensates for misalignment between a pneumatic cylinder rod and the driven load. It absorbs off-centering and parallel inaccuracies, eliminating the need for precise centering and reducing installation time. The JA series is suitable for standard duty applications.

The floating joint series JA (standard) and JAH (heavy duty), can absorb any "off-centering" or "loss of parallel accuracy" between the cylinder and the driven body. Because of this, centering is unnecessary, installation time is drastically reduced, and a high level of machining accuracy is unnecessary.
