CMS uses a reed (mechanical contact) element and DMS uses a solid-state Hall element, here wired as 2-wire in G-section body to fit the cylinder mounting groove (Waterproof RW body). It mounts directly to AirTAC pneumatic cylinders for reliable position sensing in automation.
