Electric Hydraulic Pumps

If your industrial facility uses hydraulic tools and equipment such as presses and punches, you need a hydraulic pump. The electric hydraulic pumps are used to push liquid (hydraulic oil) to power various hydraulic tools. As the name suggests, the electric hydraulic pumps use electricity to drive the motor. The pump starts by drawing the hydraulic liquid from a reservoir and then forces it to the hydraulic system. These pumps can be categorized into two broad categories: the non-positive-displacement and positive-displacement models. The non-positive-displacement model generates a continuous flow but the output is different because it lacks a positive internal seal to stop slippage. In the case of positive-displacement model, there is negligible slippage because it has a positive internal seal. This is the reason why the positive-displacement pump designs are more common in most industrial facilities. When selecting an electric hydraulic pump, it is important to factor their power output and rating. For example, an electric hydraulic pump with a maximum operating pressure of 10,000 psi will be okay for standard hydraulic tools.
