The XMS single-axis inverters are powered by DC voltage and use it to generate a controlled AC output voltage of variable amplitude and frequency for operating a motor. The inverters are supplied from the DC bus of the XVE or XVR supply units and/or the XCS or XCD converters.
Via the standard runtime, which enables the realization of most drive tasks, additional optional function packages for demanding applications are available. By means of various ordering options, it is possible to expand the hardware with ctrlX SAFETY for safety-related applications up to SIL3.
