Lubriplate Chain & Cable Fluid is a penetrating, lubricating and cleansing fluid — and Lubriplate's best-selling product. It never dries to a bare surface: it keeps a moist film that lifts dust and grit out rather than sealing them in.

That matters most on wire rope. Coating the outside is not lubricating it — the wear that retires a rope happens between the strands and at the core. Chain & Cable Fluid penetrates the strand structure to cut inter-strand friction and protect the core from rust. The same applies inside a roller chain link.

One product, four jobs: penetrating oil, light lubricant, metalworking fluid (drilling, tapping, sawing) and cleaner.
