Starrett M-1.53 M-1 precision tool oil in a 53-gallon drum, formulated for maintenance and protection of precision measuring instruments and tools. Provides corrosion resistance and smooth operation for micrometers, calipers, indicators, and other fine mechanisms.

M1 lubricant produces a micro-thin, airtight coating that simultaneously dries as it protects, avoiding dirt, grime, etc. It dries and will not attract dirt, dust or other contaminants as other leading lubricants do.
