Does the red color mean it performs differently? This product
No. Grease color is not a performance indicator. MAX TAC RED is red because the aggregate and contractor trades expect red tacky grease. The performance comes from the lithium complex thickener and EP additive package.
What does NLGI GC/LB certification mean? This product
GC is the highest NLGI rating for wheel bearing grease, LB the highest for chassis lubrication. GC/LB means it is certified for both.
Can I get MAX TAC RED in a spray? This product
Yes. An 11 oz aerosol (L0168-063) is available in addition to standard grease gun cartridges. That is uncommon for a red tacky EP grease and useful for open gears, linkages and hard-to-reach points.
Will it hold up to washdown and rain? This product
It is formulated for excellent water washout resistance and tacky adhesion, which is why it is specified for construction, farm and marine equipment.
Is it compatible with my current lithium grease? This product
