The Pie shaped Jaw eliminated the problems inherent in rectangular jaws.
Abbott grew its products to include steel and aluminum straight jaws to complement its pie jaws and holds the title to aluminum chuck jaws and other lightweight products.
They use 99.8% pure aluminum to avoid material contaminations.
This square soft jaw made out of 6061 T-6 Condition Aluminum with the Chuck size opening at 15 to 18in.
The overall Length of the jaw is 6-1/2in sitting at a Height of 3in with a Width of 2-1/2in wide.
