Conveyors are mechanical assemblies or devices created for moving packages or items with little effort. They are engineered with frames that support wheels, rollers or belts and can be powered by a motor or run manually. Conveyors are preferred because of their ease of installation and other benefits including the following: They safely transport materials from one point to another to reduce the need for human labor that is expensive and strenuous. Here are the main types of conveyors you can select: 1) Aeromechanical conveyors: These conveyors are created with a tubular design that features a cable assembly with spaced polyurethane disks. 2) Pneumatic conveyors: These conveyors use pipes that canny materials and a stream of air. The materials are mainly free flowing. 3) The vibrating conveyors: This is a type of a machine with a solid conveying surface that turns up on the side to create a sort of a trough. When the machine vibrates, the materials on the conveyor move from one end to another. These conveyors are very common in the food industry. 4) Flexible conveyor systems: This conveyor is designed to run on top of stainless or aluminum beam with low friction slide rails. The items being moved travel directly on pallets. The conveyor is preferred because it can be worked even around obstacles. 5) Vertical conveyors: These are commonly referred to as freight lights that help raise or lower materials to varying heights during processing. A good example is an industrial assembly line process that helps lift materials to different levels or floors.
