Climax Metal is an ISO 9001:2008 certified manufacturer of bearings, shaft collars, keyless locking devices, rigid couplings, abrasives, and abrasive hardware, serving the Industrial MRO market and the Power Transmission Industry. Aside from their standard product offerings, Climax Metal also does custom manufacturing as well as offers technical support, engineering, and inspection & packaging services to their customers.

 

History

Climax Metal was founded in 1946. In 1995, the company achieved ISO 9002 certification which was upgraded to ISO 9001:2008 certification in 2003. The company is the only domestic manufacturer of rigid couplings and shaft collars to achieve the second certification. Recently, the company partnered with MAV S.p.A. of Bosentino, Italy.

 

Headquarters & Locations

Climax Metal has its corporate headquarters located in Mentor, Ohio. The products are manufactured and shipped from the same location. The company also has distributors throughout North America as well as across the globe including Guam, Singapore, China, and Europe.
