North American Electric, Inc. is a wholesale supplier of General Purpose and Special Purpose AC electric motors. Their product offerings include farm duty motors, open drip proof motors, EISA Compliant general purpose inverter rated motors, TEFC Integral motors, oil well pump motors, and vertical hollow shaft motors, to name a few.

History

North American Electric, Inc. was founded in 1993 by Donald E. Hackman, Sr. and David E. Hackman. The company was focused on distributing high quality motors from dependable manufacturers within the United States and abroad. When the company started out, its product range was limited to Three Phase, TEFC, General Purpose AC motors from 1HP up to 150 HP. Over the years, the company started to increase its product range to include NEMA Premium Efficient, Three Phase, TEFC, General Purpose AC motors from 1/3HP up to 600HP. Today, the company offers special purpose motors such as crusher duty motors, compressor duty motors, and close coupled pump motors as well as shaft mount reducers and motor controls.
