ZVL-ZKL Bearings Corporation is a manufacturer of roller bearings such as single row deep groove ball bearings, single row and double row angular contact ball bearings, cylindrical roller bearings, tapered roller bearings, thrust ball bearings, and vibrating screen bearings, to name a few.
History
ZVL-ZKL Bearings Corporation first started out as a factory in Perstejn nad Ohrí, near Germany's border in 1926. Dr. Günter Sachs owned the factory before it was purchased by SKF in 1930. SKF operated the factory until 1948. In 1953, the production of bearings in Klásterec nad Ohrí began under the brand ZKL. By 1969, all production from the Perstejn factory was transferred to this plant. In 1980, the Klásterec factory joined the ZVL Concern along with 10 other bearing factories in Czechoslovakia.
