Safely connects your portable generator to your transfer switch. The power inlet box is installed on the exterior of the house near your main electrical panel. Inside, it is hardwired to your manual transfer switch to restore power to your main electrical panel. When the power goes out, you simply connect one end of a power cord to your portable generator outlet. The other end is plugged into the power inlet box. Product Details: L14-30 NEMA configuration with spring loaded flip lid. 125/250 VAC. Corrosion-resistant aluminum enclosure provides long life, and can be painted. Flip Lid covers the inlet to keep out nesting insects, dirt, and moisture

Good service at a reasonable price. I scoured all possible sites on the internet and Generac direct sites. Very scarce. Even had sites say out of stock, discontinued. Since the 11.4 kw inverter is the center piece/focal point I feared I would have to change plans significantly Thanks again.
