SKF / CR Seals (formerly CR Seals) 440X480X20 HS8 V is a HS8 Hydraulic Double Lip radial shaft seal designed for 440mm shaft diameter, 480mm housing bore, and 20mm seal width. Constructed with a NBR sealing lip and spring-loaded garter spring for consistent radial sealing force. Operating temperature range: -40°F to 250°F (-40°C to 121°C). Suitable for use in electric motors, gearboxes, pumps, and other rotating equipment.

HS8 seals are designed for housings with a cover plate. They have a spring-loaded sealing lip with SKF Springcover. Their split execution enables installation where there is no access to the end of the shaft. These seals perform exceptionally well in large-size machinery, and customized or heavy-duty machinery.
