Description
Model TMPKTJ02 transition joint probe is a rugged temperature probe that features a spring strain relief at the 'cold' end of the probe that prevents pinching of the thermocouple wire that can occur in certain applications. This probe is Type K, Inconel 600 with a sheath diameter of 0. 125 inch. The upper temperature guideline for thermocouple function is 1071 Celsius (1960 Fahrenheit). The probe is a standard 12' long and comes with bare wire ends.

This one worked. Second one I ordered, one from another supplier. First one was dead. Battery is supposed to last for 5 years, it's an "always on" setup. Mine first one did last the 5 years. I use this on my milling machine powered by a VFD.
