5V800 Narrow V-belt is a narrow profile belt that transfers loads very efficiently and delivers higher horsepower ratings than classical section belts. Its efficient design, executed with premium quality materials and advanced manufacturing techniques, can transmit up to 3 times higher horsepower than classical section belts in the same space or the same horsepower in 1/2 to 2/3 less space. You save belt, sheave weight, space and, of course, cost! Extra strong polyester tensile cords are treated for fatigue and stretch resistance. These rugged cords are the secret to the belt's exceptional length stability and drive uniformity. Cut on a special bias angle, the rubber impregnated fabric cover permits the belt to bend easily around sheaves, reducing stress and the resulting heat build up that shortens belt life. The belt's inner components are protected against dirt, oil and heat by the long wearing cover. Insulation section provides cord support and protection, while bonding the tensile cords to the upper and lower components for the longest possible belt life. The compression section, which is firm enough to maintain cross section uniformity and at the same time flexible enough to reduce heat build up, transfers the load from the tensile cord to the sheave.

My mistake? fixed!
I needed a 3L330 V-Belt and somehow I think either I typed 5L330 although I was using an online conversion chart to match up belt numbers which might have had a typo there. The delivery is always good from MRO. I contacted MRO by email late that night after work with my silly situation and then rather than wait for a reply I ordered the right belt number so I could get the job done. I got a reply the next morning with instructions for the return procedure then the very next day I had the right belt delivered. Then I received another two contacts from the returns agent and customer support agent both telling me not to return the wrong belt and I would be refunded the purchase amount. Outstanding helpful support and the 'fastest delivery in the west'. MRO people are the best all around. Great products and extensive choices. I am retired now after 50 years in manufacturing equipment operations and maintenance with Nashua then Kellogg's but still I love working on machines and fixing things. MRO is a great source for many things even as small as a lawn & garden V-Belt they take care of the little guy too. Great people at MRO Supply.
