2hp 56c Motors
Electrical motors available for AC or DC supply with NEMA (National Electrical Manufacturers Association) frame size 56C.
Frame size 56 motors will have a nominal output shaft diameter of 5/8" (0.625"/15.875mm).
The suffix C denotes a face mounting although some of motors are also complete with foot mount, (please check motor detail for confirmation).
Make sure the electrical motor has sufficient power and torque to drive the application. By using first principle load calculations of the mass to be accelerated, moved, decelerated within the application, values of torque and power based on speed can be determined. Always allow a factor of safety to prevent over loading and overheating which will reduce the service life of the motor.
