Lovejoy 685144120014 L150 Spider SOX is a standard NBR (nitrile/Buna N) rubber spider for L150 size jaw couplings. This solid-center elastomeric element provides high torsional dampening and operates within a temperature range of -40°F to 212°F. It is the baseline torque element for the L150 coupling size, designed to connect two L150 series hubs for power transmission in pumps, compressors, and conveyors.

• The L Type coupling consists of two standard L Type hubs and one spider.

Elastomers in Compression

Lovejoy offers four types of elastomer designs to allow for additional flexibility in addressing specific application requirements. One piece designs are used in the “L” and “AL” models (referred to as spiders) and multiple part “load cushions” are used in the “C” and “H” model couplings. The load cushions are in sets of 6 to 14 pieces depending on coupling size.
