With a superior combination of flex and load, the PowerBand construction consists of multiple V-belts joined together by a permanent, high strength tie band that functions as a single unit. This means a tougher, more stable solution with even load distribution and each strand fitting securely in the sheave groove.

Meets ARPM / RMA IP-3-2 oil and heat resistant standards. Meets ARPM / RMA IP-3-3 static conductivity requirements. Notches molded into the belt during manufacturing increase flexibility making this belt well suited for drives with smaller diameter sheaves. The Tie Band assures high lateral rigidity, guiding the belt in a straight line and preventing it from coming off the drive. Aramid Tensile Cords combine limited stretch with extraordinary strength and durability that is pound-for-pound stronger than steel. Patented Ethylene Material construction provides -60°F to +250°F temperature range to resist belt cracking. Distinctive Green Backing provides protection and wear resistance. |
