- RC (inch) and FC FCS FCL (metric) are clutches capable for rotational torque only
- RCB (inch( and FCB FCBL (metric) are clutch bearings capable for rotational torque and radial load
- "-FS" in the suffix for the RC and RCB call out stainless steel springs and are capable of higher operating temperatures and significantly higher engagements per minute
- A polymer spring is standard for the RC and RCB
