SMC JA30-10-125 floating joint compensates for off-centering and parallel misalignment between a pneumatic cylinder rod and the driven load. This standard-duty joint eliminates the need for precise centering, reducing installation time and machining requirements. It is designed for use with SMC cylinders and other linear actuators.

The floating joint series JA (standard) and JAH (heavy duty), can absorb any "off-centering" or "loss of parallel accuracy" between the cylinder and the driven body. Because of this, centering is unnecessary, installation time is drastically reduced, and a high level of machining accuracy is unnecessary.
