When air is compressed, it can easily carry droplets of condensed impurities such as water, oil, and dust. These impurities are cleared by the filter.
Pressure regulators are used to ensure that pressure to a specific actuator is maintained at a specific level. This is crucial for the effective functioning of different parts of a pneumatic system.
The last part is the lubricator. A closer look at many pneumatic components reveals that they work well when properly lubricated. Therefore, lubricator is used to inject a thin mist or oil into the air stream powering them. This helps to keep the valves, air motors, and cylinders well lubricated. It also extends their lifespan.
