Worlds's Smallest Friction Clutch

Huco Dynatork has developed a minature slip clutch for mounting in line between two shafts, which could be the smallest slip clutch in the world. The unique design clutch is of only 0.63" (16mm) diameter and designed to fit 4mm shafts.

It works on a single screw,which is adjustable with a torque range between 10 and 50 gcm. It is accessible through the nylon housing. The hubs are attached to shafts by means of M3 socket screws. This unique design will be used in smaller shafts going forward.
