AMI Bearings offer more than 50,000 unique mounted ball bearing units and their respective bearing inserts that are used in numerous applications within various industries including food processing, conveyor, mining, packaging, textile, pharmaceutical, and air movement.

 

History

Asahi Seiko Co., Ltd., a global bearing manufacturer, was founded in May 1928. The company started producing ball bearing units for the first time in Japan in June 1951. Through the years, the company further expanded its product range to include mechanical clutches, linear motion equipment, air clutches, and air clutch-brakes. In March 1990, Asahi established an overseas sales subsidiary called AMI Bearings, Inc. in Chicago to cater to the North American market.

AMI Bearings, Inc. has its national headquarters located in Mt. Prospect, Illinois while its parent company, Asahi Seiko, is located in Osaka, Japan. AMI Bearings has various warehouses and distributors located across the United States where it actively stocks all catalogued items.
