Moline Bearing

Moline Bearing is a manufacturer of bearings that serve the power transmission industry. The company's products include type E mounted bearings, ball bearings, tapered bushings, shaft collars, pulleys, spherical roller bearings, and QD bushings, to name a few.

History

Moline Malleable Iron Company was founded in 1869, consisting of a foundry that produced castings used in elevating and conveying macihnes, chains, and elevator buckets. For more than a century, the company became a major supplier of chain and castings. It was only in 1992 that Moline Bearing Company was formally established, when the bearing division became a separate entity. In 2009, the company started offering a specialty bearing service, enabling customers to buy obsolete bearings that the company designs and produces from scratch. The company also started a specialty coating business as part of the bearing design service it offered.

Moline Bearing Company has its headquarters and manufacturing facility located in Batavia, Illinois. Its six warehouses are located in El Monte, California; Portland, Oregon; Senatobia, Mississippi; Itasca, Texas; Charlotte, North Carolina; and Schulenburg, Texas.
