Nexen Catalog - Friction Brakes

These clutches use one friction disc and are self-adjusting. They can be mounted on either driven or driving shafts and are powerful enough to handle a wide range of transmitted horsepower of up to 25 hp. Further, they can comfortably handle a maximum torque rating of 5000 in pounds (lbs) at 80 pounds per square inch (PSI).

The thermal capacity of these friction clutches is 2.5 hp and they can run at an optimal speed of 3600 revolutions per minute (rpm). Most of them are available in different versions, including pilot mount, sheaves, and couplings. This product category has 5 and 12 metric models and imperial models, respectively.
