United Abrasives

United Abrasives is a manufacturer of bonded and coated abrasives, carbide burs, wire brushes, diamond wheels, and accessory items. The company is partnered with Sait Abrasivi, an Italian corporation that also manufactures bonded and coated abrasives.

History

United Abrasives, Inc. was established in 1970. The company started out manufacturing coated abrasive belts then expanded its product range to include bonded abrasives in 1975.

Headquarters & Locations

United Abrasives is headquartered in North Windham, Connecticut along with its Eastern Distribution Center. The company also has a warehouse in Salt Lake City, Utah as well as a distribution facility in Mississauga, Ontario. United Abrasive's presence in Europe is located in Torino, Italy where Sait Abrasivi has its headquarters. The company also has a facility in Piozo, Italy.
