V-ring seal, VR3 design, North American standard, interchangeable with VL design
V-ring seals (V-rings) are all-rubber, axial shaft seals. They offer an easy-to-install solution for rotating shaft applications, including use as a secondary seal in highly contaminated environments. The VR3 design includes a very compact axial cross section. VR3 seals are commonly used in confined spaces to enhance the efficiency of labyrinth seals.
