SKF / CR Seals (formerly CR Seals) 12X16X3 HM4 R is a HM4 single lip radial shaft seal (lip seal) designed for 12mm shaft diameter, 16mm housing bore, and 3mm seal width. Constructed with a NBR sealing lip and spring-loaded garter spring for consistent radial sealing force. Operating temperature range: -40°F to 250°F (-40°C to 121°C). Suitable for use in electric motors, gearboxes, pumps, and other rotating equipment.

They have a conventional single sealing lip made of elastomer. Typical applications include grease lubricated agriculture machinery.
