SKF / CR Seals (formerly CR Seals) 41X62X12 D8 P is a D8 single lip radial shaft oil seal for 41mm shaft diameter, 62mm housing bore, and 12mm seal width. Constructed with an NBR sealing lip and spring-loaded garter spring for consistent radial sealing force. Operating temperature range: -40°F to 250°F (-40°C to 121°C). Suitable for use in electric motors, gearboxes, pumps, and other rotating equipment.

Radial shaft seal for general industrial applications
Radial shaft seals are used between rotating and stationary machine components, or between components in relative motion. The seals have an outer covering of steel or elastomer, designed to fit the housing bore. The sealing lip is made of elastomer or thermoplastic for best sealing against the rotating shaft. A garter spring in the seal optimizes the sealing against the shaft.
